Spain Park's Newspaper Club and FBLA are partnering up to collect pop tabs to sponsor the Ronald McDonald House. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama receives money from the recycling of aluminum. The Ronald McDonald house provides a supportive home away from home for families and their children who are receiving medical treatment at Children's of Alabama, UAB, or other area hospitals. They provide guest families with all the comforts of home – plus a local support network – so they can focus on their children's healing. The AO with the most pop tabs will receive a special surprise. The competition will last until November 17, 2017; however, we will be collecting pop tabs all year long!
