Congratulations to the students of the Rhapsody In Blue show choir on being awarded 1st Place and Best Vocals at this past weekend's Capital City Classic! The group is comprised of 32 singers/dancers and is accompanied by a 16-member band. Our HCS counterpart Hoover High School Paradigm was awarded 2nd Place, Vestavia Hills High School Singers 3rd Place.
Rhapsody also received a Superior Rating at the Contempo Choral Festival and caption awards for Best Vocals, Best Costumes, Best Male Performer (Andrew Ritchey, Sophomore), Best Female Performer (Jazzmin Pride, Sophomore), and Best Solo In a Show (Rachel Ponder, Senior).
Come see one of our final performances. Rhapsody In Blue will perform at the Talent Show Finals next Wednesday during JAG and the HCS Show Choir Showcase next Friday night!
