On Wednesday, October 31st students will have the opportunity to provide families overseas with water filters that have the potential to significantly improve their quality of life! For a $3.00 donation our SPHS students can dress up for Halloween while supporting this worthy cause.
Students may purchase wrist bands during their lunch starting on Thursday, October 25th or they may purchase wrist bands in room A218. Someone will also be available before school on October 31st in front of the library.
For every 15 students that dress up, one family will receive a water filter in the Dominican Republic. Each filter has the potential to support a family for about 8 years!
In order to ensure that we can continue helping families in the future please keep the following in mind while choosing your costume:
- Students must wear your wristband throughout the day on October 31 in order to let teachers know you can dress up.
- Hats will be allowed but each face must be completely visible. Please avoid face paint and masks of any kind.
- Leave weapons related props at home.
- Costumes should be family friendly. Please refrain from being obstructive, objectionable, offensive or violent. Dress code rules still apply.
- Politically related costumes, accessories and slogans will not be allowed.
